Digital Fellow

Ty Pinkins for U.S. Senate is seeking a Digital Fellow to join our growing digital team. We are looking to fill three part-time fellowship positions to assist our department in these areas: Digital Fundraising, Video Editing, Production Assistant, and Graphic Design. This position will be based in Jackson, MS.

 

Digital Fundraising Essential Duties: 

  • Analyze fundraising and social media data and record weekly insights

  • Identify fundraising opportunities around breaking news 

  • Create compelling content for social media that engages our supporters and grows our following

  • Willingness to learn more about digital and digital fundraising

 

Video Editing Essential Duties:

  • Edit videos with Premiere Pro 

  • Edit content to create recap videos.  

  • File Management 

  • Capable of next-day turnaround trips. 

 

Production Assistant Essential Duties: 

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs 

  • Attention to detail on trips

  • Assist Camera operator when needed 

  • Assist in maintaining workflow and productivity as needed

  • Creative and strategic problem solver

 

Graphic Design Essential Duties:

  • Design social media graphics and shoot, produce, and edit short-form videos for social media, including motion graphics.

  • Work with all departments to meet design and video needs.

  • Create designs for print media, merchandise, and other campaign projects.

 

Bonus Points:

  • Experience creating digital content for social media channels, and an understanding of how to create optimized content for each channel.

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects (or other video software of choice).
